Original painting and hand made custom floating frame. Dimensions: 24 x 36 in. Artist Bio LaMonte Lamoureux was born in Alaska, United States on January 6, 1977. The unique landscapes and environment surrounding him began a balance of appreciating beautiful views with the unique ecology and biological systems that exist below the surface. Lamoureux further combined these perspectives during his academic studies in the Biological Sciences with a minor in Fine Arts at Sierra Nevada College on a combined academic and athletic scholarship as an accomplished downhill ski racer. After having been chosen three years in a row to exhibit his work on banners along the iconic California US Route 101 by Arts Alive, Lamoureux was approached to install a large mural overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the Seaside Market complex in his home town. This led to his first exhibition at Fowler's Boutique in 2019 during which his entire collection sold on its opening reception followed by many successful exhibitions since. He is also represented at the design centers of Molly Wood Design in Costa Mesa, California, Slate Interiors, Charlotte, North Carolina, Grounded Modern and Kyle & Grace in Encinitas, California. Lamoureux achieved national exposure with his work being featured on episodes of Help! I Wrecked My House, produced by HGTV and published in Nurture Parenting magazine and the book House Story by Jasmine Roth. Internationally, the art of LaMonte Lamoureux can be seen in Dando A Luz Birthing Centers, including the first natural birthing center in Thailand. LaMonte Lamoureux currently lives in Cardiff by the Sea, California with his wife and two daughters where you can find him painting in his home based garage art studio or surfing the waves at nearby Cardiff Reef and Swamis. Sculptor and designer Casey Parlette has always appreciated the art of exploration. Perhaps one of his most illustrious adventures happened during a year of living in the Amazon when he came across a previously unknown, colorful little fish that was eventually named rivulus parlettei. Parlettei Jewelry was named after this colorful fish. It reflects the art of discovery and the essence of nature. In an effort to make a piece of wearable art that had life and personality, titanium turned out to be a compelling medium. Vecina, which appeared with the 1999 vintage in the inaugural Bond release, is always rich, powerful and intense. Vecina's other hallmarks are opulent blackberry fruit, with wild forest floor and mineral associated overtones. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate The 2004 Vecina shares an opaque ruby/purple color, smells of wet steel, crushed rocks, spring flowers, forest floor, and plenty of cedar and chocolatey black currant and blackberry notes. A huge, spicy, complex nose is followed by a wine of impressive ripeness, full-bodied power, and a multi-dimensional mouthfeel with huge amounts of glycerin, fruit, and thickness. This is a connoisseur's treat, and despite the fruit-forward character of the vintage, this wine ideally needs 2-4 years of bottle age and should keep for 30-35+ years. Wine Enthusiast Forward, rather jammy in blackberry, black raspberry, cherry, cola and cedar, with a dessert pastry richness suggesting macaroons and oatmeal raisin cookies. Incongruous as it sounds, there’s also a complementary dusting of dried rosemary, lavender and thyme, like the garrigue scent of a southern Rhône wine. This is the first collaboration between good friends and former Lightning Bolt team riders, Gerry Lopez and Paul Naudé. Gerry Lopez, one of the world's most iconic surfers and cofounder of the famous Lightning Bolt brand in the 1970's and this year's Oceana Ocean Champion, Paul Naudé, surfed and completed Hawaii's Benzai Pipeline during the golden era. Both have been hand crafting surfboards for over 50 years and for the first time, specially for this year's SeaChange Summer Party, have collaborated to build this iconic replica of the iconic "Pipeliner" surfboard that was first design to successfully ride the tube at the world's most dangerous wave. Gerry shaped this surfboard using the same templates and profiles as he did back in the 70s and Paul glassed and finished the board as they were done back then - a glass on single fin, no leash plug and polished finish. About Ted Danson: To most, Ted Danson is known for TV and movie acting roles, but for those in the conservation movement, he is much more famous for his work as a passionate ocean advocate and Oceana spokesman. The son of an archaeologist and anthropologist, Ted grew up understanding that cultures leave an imprint on the Earth and that some legacies are indelible, for better or for worse. Despite growing up in landlocked Flagstaff, Arizona, Ted grew an affinity for the water through years of routine pilgrimages to visit family in California. His call to action came years later, during his tenure as Sam Malone on “Cheers,” when living in Santa Monica he saw a sign at the beach reading, “Water polluted, no swimming.” “Trying to explain that to my kid was hard,” he remembers, “It got me questioning a lot of things.” Shortly thereafter, Ted met environmental lawyer Bob Sulnick and become involved in a movement to prevent digging for oil wells in Santa Monica. Buoyed up by the victory, Danson accelerated his involvement by helping create the American Oceans Campaign in 1987, which eventually became Oceana in 2001. In the last two decades, Ted has been complimented by his staunch ocean advocacy, appearing in public service announcements, appealing to donors and testifying to the government on the condition of our oceans. He currently sits on Oceana’s Board of Directors where he and his wife, actress Mary Steenburgen, continue to fight on our oceans’ behalf.- Valid for 2 people
