“My art has evolved through several stages which have generally paralleled my place of residence and travel. Living in California, Hawaii and Wyoming has contributed to my work. Nonetheless, the emphasis on my impression and emotional response is the dominant force behind my efforts. Currently, I am studying and trying to use the relationships of art to physics as it applies in creating my work. The use of egg tempera has enabled an opportunity to paint undersea subjects.
Whether I am privileged to be holding a brush or not, each new visual experience evokes for me a creative response, which as it develops and matures may eventually find its way to canvas or paper”
