Amid gardens and groves Il Palagio sits like the central jewel of a lovely crown. But this finely situated estate is a home; comfortable and easy, filled with books of art and history, we found ourselves embraced on every level. Until you are there, it is almost impossible to imagine the vistas, the groves of fruit olives, vines, and vegetables. We found a warm and gracious staff attending to our every need, wonderful food and wine, comfortable quarters, and well – sigh - it was purely a pleasure. Christy Walton
